The Friends of the Kern County Fair, a non-profit public benefit corporation 501(c) (3) is work ing to preserve and enrich the heritage of the 15th District Agricultural Association and show casing agricultural industries to the community. Offering sup port to the 4-H and FFA pro grams, creating agricultural edu cation opportunities, and main training a standard of excellence and expansion in the facilities by implementing capital improvement programs. The Friends of the Kern County Fair also pro vides annual scholarship opportunities for students that excel in a combination of the areas of Agriculture, Academics, and Community Service.
